Desktop Aquarium Support

Quick answers for installation, purchases, saved progress and aquarium controls on Windows 10 and 11.

How do I install Desktop Aquarium?

Open the Desktop Aquarium page in Microsoft Store, select Get or Install, and launch the app from the Start menu after installation finishes.

Where is my aquarium progress stored?

Progress and settings are stored locally on your Windows device. Installing an update over the existing app should preserve them. Resetting app data or uninstalling may remove local progress.

How do I restore a purchase?

Make sure Microsoft Store is signed in with the same Microsoft account used for the purchase, then restart Desktop Aquarium. Microsoft Store manages licenses and purchase history.

The aquarium does not fit my screen correctly

Try switching between windowed and borderless modes, then reopen the app. Keeping Windows display scaling and your monitor resolution at their recommended values may also help.

The game is slow or fish animation stutters

Close graphics-heavy applications, update your display driver and restart the aquarium. If the problem continues, include your Windows version, display resolution and graphics-card model in your support message.

How do I report a bug?

Describe what happened, what you expected, and the steps that reproduce it. A screenshot or short screen recording is especially useful.
